Method · Assurance properties

Five properties of dependable organisational knowledge.

The properties are examined separately because strength in one area must not hide a material weakness in another.

Use the five properties as questions for your assessment. Support each answer with evidence relevant to the work, period and intended use being examined.

Integrity

Is the knowledge sufficiently complete, current where needed, and protected against uncontrolled alteration, degradation, unsupported reuse or material context loss?

Provenance

Can relevant origins, contributors, versions, transformations, dependencies and use of automation or AI be traced to the degree the consequence requires?

Authority

Why is this knowledge sufficiently authoritative for the intended use, and who can stand behind it? Authority can arise from law, an approved source, professional competence, delegated responsibility or another recognised basis.

Understandability

Can competent people interpret the knowledge, explain its meaning and limitations, and challenge it when necessary?

Resilience

Can the organisation preserve, transfer or recover both the knowledge and the capability that depends on it when people, systems, suppliers or circumstances change?

No composite score. ArtiProof keeps material property weaknesses visible rather than averaging them into a maturity number.

ArtiProof is ready for research, but has not yet been broadly validated by independent researchers. The first independent replication is still pending. More about the research.
